The Foundation for Barnes-Jewish Hospital has an opportunity for a Stewardship Manager.
This role will lead and elevate donor experience and stewardship at the principal and major gift level by managing and coordinating in alignment with leadership. In this role, you?ll design thoughtful, creative engagement strategies that strengthen relationships with donors and partners, while supporting cultivation, solicitation, recognition, and stewardship efforts. You?ll also play a key role in fostering meaningful clinical and programmatic partnerships, using strong communication and storytelling skills to highlight impact and deepen engagement.
Monday-Friday, hybrid position with expectations to be on-site 3 days per week.

Role Purpose
Manages and coordinates stewardship activities focused on the use and administration of funds in order to create strategic outreach and tailored engagement efforts that support donor cultivation, solicitation, recognition, stewardship, and clinical partnerships.
Responsibilities
Manages fund maintenance and reporting to support a comprehensive donor engagement program, including annual reporting on endowments, projects and activities to support prospect and donor engagement and grant/fund stewardship. Ensures that the productivity and actions of the department meet/support the overall operational goals of the Foundation, as established by Foundation leadership.
Collaborates with philanthropy team, donor services, communications/marketing, grant administration, and other departments to create strategic initiatives and outreach efforts that support donor development, clinical and research partnerships, and community benefit.
Analyzes trends in fund usage in order to recommend appropriate donor relations activities for all constituencies. Oversees implementation of the Foundation?s overall fund stewardship plan across all foundation departments and outreach platforms.
Devises and ensures the use of consistent, accurate and appropriate tracking of stewardship activities and production of reports to donors of funds, grant recipients, and fund administrators. Including analysis of fund usage and recommends appropriate next steps for utilization while taking advantage of increased donor engagement and activities to advance the program.
