The Veterans Health Care System of the Ozarks, at Fort Smith, AR, is seeking a full-time Primary Care Physician.  

Highlights of this opportunity:

• Potential starting base salary range: $200,000-$250,000

• Permanent full-time position
• Daily schedule, Monday-Friday, 8am-4:30pm
• Records history and physical examinations from clinic visits.
• Evaluates, consults, develops diagnosis, and manages the primary care panel of patients assigned.
• Enters progress notes in computerized medical record and completes workload documentation in a timely manner.
• Orders diagnostic tests, medications, laboratory tests as medically relevant for each patient.
• Determines medical assessment and develops treatment plans according to accepted protocols.
• Prescribes medications according to approved formulary, and in accordance with Federal and State Law.
