The region’s leading network of healthcare providers, Inspira Health, is seeking a full-time Assistant Nurse Manager to join the Post Anesthesia Care team at our Mullica Hill location. In this position, you’ll work closely with the Clinical Director and Nurse Manager in the supervision of staff, job performance, and implementation of patient care. This role may also require you to carry out house supervisor duties as needed after training.
Responsibilities:
Participate in performance evaluation process to improve the coaching and counseling of staff
Identify and recommend necessary corrective measures to Nurse Manager or Clinical Director
Manage staffing model and take patient assignment during high census or urgent situations
Engage in shared governance councils and oversee unit-based nurse practice council functions
Encourage a harmonious and positive work environment for the Post Anesthesia Care Unit
Qualifications:
BSN required; MSN preferred
Current RN licensure in the State of New Jersey
2+ years of experience as a Registered Nurse
American Heart Association BLS certification
National certification in speciality area required within 3 years of hire
Proven expertise in management principles and clinical nursing skills
