The Coordinator, Perioperative Services (OR Scheduler) performs serves as a liaison between staff, physicians, the auxiliary departments, and the public to provide an optimum level of care to infant, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients. In addition, this position requires the ability to safeguard and maintain professional ethics regarding patient information. RESPONSIBILITIES Answers telephone in a respectful manner, accepts OR bookings and accurately transcribes them in to the EPIC system to schedule perioperative procedures.Notifies surgeon's office of missing documentation.
