Join our team as a Medical Lab Tech (MLT)!  A laboratory professional responsible for performance of all levels of general testing within the analytical laboratory. The Medical Lab Tech (MLT) provides a high level of technical knowledge and application of that knowledge to department testing and clinical relevance. In this role you will consistently functions in a self-directed manner and exhibits complex problem solving skills.

In addition to bringing your whole self to the workplace each day, qualified candidates will need the following:

To qualify for a Medical Laboratory Technician position:

• 1 year related work experience preferred
• Associates Degree in laboratory science OR

• Bachelors Degree in related sciences, OR
• Completion of a U.S. Military 50-week course leading to specialty of Medical Laboratory Specialist or equivalent role

• MLT ASCP or equivalent certification required within 6 months of hire

To qualify for a Medical Technician position:

• 1 year related work experience preferred
• Associates Degree required
• Bachelors Degree preferred
• MLS (or MT) ASCP or categorical/specialty certification or equivalent required within 6 months of hire

Physical Requirements-Light work - (Exert up to 20lbs force occasionally, and/or up to 10lbs frequently)

St. Elizabeth Hospital, located in Fort Morgan, Colorado, is a Level 3 Trauma Center and an American College of Cardiology Accredited Chest Pain Center serving northeastern Colorado. Providing care through-out the region, St. Elizabeth Hospital provides cardiology, maternal, emergency, surgical, pediatrics, and acute care inpatient services in addition to the multitude of subspecialists in our specialty clinic. At 50 beds, St. Elizabeth is the region?s referral center serving a wide span of northeastern Colorado.
